I am deaf in my left ear. Is there a device to listen to music on my iPhone with only a right ear bud or ear phone?

In iTunes on the main page of the iPhone when it's connected you can click on universal access and under hearing tick "Use mono audio". In the iPhone if you go to Settings > General > Accessibility, you can enable mono audio there also. Hope that helps mate.

  • It seems like all you need is a mono headphone, that way you can get both channels of sound coming through one speaker. If you purchase a set of mono in ear headphones, you can cut off one of the earbuds and still enjoy all the channels of recorded music. This trick works on old CD/mp3/cassette players, and I don't see why it wouldn't work for an iPod.

  • There are accessability features on the iPhone 3GS that allow you to channel the same sounds through both earbuds so it will sound the same in the left and the right.
