Battery life can last anywhere from 2 to 6 days depending on where the device is being used and how much it's being used.
Pets, for instance, are constantly moving so typical battery life is about 2 days. Likewise, if you use the device in a city with lots of tall buildings (like New York), that can also reduce battery life because the device has to work harder to receive a signal. Skyscrapers can create a lot of interference.
But for the majority of customers who use their devices as they're intended to be used, battery life is typically 4-5 days. I have gotten as much as 6 days out of my device.
Another cool feature about the PocketFinder is that the device will send you an alert (text message, email, or push notification) when the battery life falls below a certain level, which you determine. Personally, I like to be notified when my devices have 20% battery life remaining.
All that said, the company recommends that users charge their devices regularly, just like they would a cell phone.
