How do you remove the iPod from the case without breaking the case?

The proper/safe way to remove this case is to take a U.S. dime (or similar small coin) and insert it into the small slot on the right-hand side of the case at or near the bottom of the right side. Once inserted, slowly turn the dime like a key in a door until the upper and lower portions of the plastic case pop apart.

I found out that the best way is to start at the bottom, prying apart the two halves. Then, slowly, carefully work toward the top. Again, this is for the Countour iSee clamshell case.
As to why remove the iPod, I was getting debris inside the case (coming in through the opening for the "Hold" button) and wanted to clean it out.
