How do I provide my TV MAC address to my airport extreme router?

I just purchased a new mitsubishi tv and want to access internet/apps on my tv. The instruction say, "Obtain the TV MAC address and provide it to the router." How do I do that?

    First off I'm guessing that your TV is not wireless enabled, so you will have to connect the TV to your router via a cable. Once the cable is connected, just:

    Disable your MacAddress filter, -->
    Restart the router, -->
    View connected devices (which will be displayed by Mac Address) -->
    Enter the Mac Address of your TV in the Mac Address filter section of the router-->
    Enable Mac Address and Restart

    If your TV does support WiFi then just do the same as above.

    The Mac Address filter is not enabled by default, so please check you are setting up the devices correctly.
