How do I hook a MacBook Air to wired ethernet (RG-45).

There is no RG 45 port on my Macbook Air, I want to hardwire into a server / internet provider with no WiFi.

    Its RJ 45 (Registered Jack 45)
    You can buy a USB to Ethernet or a Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter.
    Both these adapters will have Female RJ45 connectors.
