How big is the on board memory/hard drive to store music on?

I'm assuming it works stand alone and has an internal method of storing my music like an iPod would do?

    The unit does not have a hard drive. It works with a mac computer. The mac computer or external hard drive connected to hard drive is where music can be stored.

  • It's not a standalone device; you need a Mac with an available USB port.
