Does Time Capsule work with both 110v and 220v?

Specifically, will a TC bought in the US work in China?

    Yes. Time Capsule's specifications state: "Line voltage: 100-240V AC"

    The PSU (Power Suply Unit) in the Time Machine transforms (converts) the 110-220v volts down to 12V.

    BUT

    If you use it with 220v it will have to do more work to transform the volts down to 12v so it will get hotter and will not last as long (15-17 years insted of 20).
