Does this work without the bluetooth adapter with iPhone 4 or iPad?

    Yes, and i quote directly from creatives website "Compatibility Disclaimer:
    * Stereo Bluetooth or A2DP profile enables wireless transmission of full stereo sound to other Bluetooth devices. To determine whether your device (notebook, PC or mobile device) is equipped with A2DP-enabled Bluetooth technology, refer to your device manufacturer's documentation/website for more information."

    BUT please understand, the bleutooth adapter/dongle carries the valuable Apt-x technology which is vastly superior sound quality than using bluetooth without it.

  • Yes it does. The bluetooth adapter is not required. You just need to hit the connect button on the D5 and then connect your iPhone/iPad up as if it's any other bluetooth audio device. You don't get the same volume controls as when you use the bluetooth adapter though.
