does this work with iphone 5 and does it connect from ear phone jack to aux.

This will work with any device that has a 3.5mm jack port that outputs audio (iPhone, iPad, iPod . . . anything you play music on). This cord is the cord that would go from a device to an aux. port (cars, aux in).
