Does this require an Airport Express?

I am looking for a "wireless" Airport speaker to connect to my wireless network. Do they all require the additional use of a dedicate Airport Express? Or are some able to connect by themselves?

  • No, the iHome iW1 connects to your wifi network directly and can revive music sent over AirPlay, without an Airport Express.
