Does this edition work with Android as well?
Will I be able to control this edition with my Android phone in addition to my iOS devices?

In short, yes it will! I've tested the Free Flight app on my iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display, iPod touch 5th generation, and iPhone 4s. The Drone flew just fine from all my iOS Devices. Same goes for Android. I've tested the same app for Android (obviously) on my Galaxy S4, HTC One, LG G2, Galaxy Note 3, G Flex, Moto X, Moto G, the list of Android devices I've tested on goes on for a while. The best Android device for the AR Drone is the Nvidia Shield. It's an Android powered handheld game console, but one of the main features is the console controller like layout. So you can fly the Drone with physical controls instead of a touch screen. Just Google "AR Drone Nvidia Shield" and check it out!

Thank you Alex C and OMG I'm totally checking out the Nvidia Shield too, that looks like an amazing combo!
