It will work with any recent gaming console that has a wireless connection (Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and Sony Playstation 3).

The Time Capsule will only allow you to connect such devices to the internet via its Airport wireless capabilities -- so yes, you can play games online.

One thing to note though, you cannot use the storage on the Time Capsule for streaming media to your game consoles (like a media server).

  • Yes
just detect the wireless network (from PS3) as normal and enter the password for your wireless network.

  • The only thing with PS3 is you have to setup your TC's Radio Mode to 802.11n (802.11b/g compatible), you can't set up as 802.11n only because PS3's wifi has maximum g speed only, not on n speed.

  • I've got the previous model of 1TB Time Capsule, and there's no problem to connect to PlayStation 3, DSi and XBOX 360. I've been using it for about a year to play games online, either via Wi-Fi or LAN for my XBOX 360.

  • NO - there are not enough port forwards to handle most online games

you will be able to connect to the PS network but online games will crash
