Does the nest work with a veriable speed system?

    Unfortunately no. Nest can only sent digital on off signals needed by most systems, not the analog signals needed for variable speed.

  • The Nest does work with two-stage heating systems, but not with truly variable systems.

  • Well, I have a NEST thermostat hooked up to my variable speed Air Handler, I'm an AC Contractor and I have had no problems. Works fine with mine.
