Does the crystal film cover the whole front of the iphone, or just the actual touch screen section?

Buying a cover that leaves almost all the front bare, would buying this film stop scratches near the home button, or does it just cover the actual touch screen?

    It covers the entirety of the phone's glass face with cutouts for the home button and ear speaker. Both versions of this product are simply fantastic. A great buy in my opinion.
