Does it work with banks outside the US? I'd like to use it with HSBC or BNP

iBank can download bank transactions in several ways, and the most popular methods - via Direct Connect or web downloads - are commonly available from U.S. banks. Outside the U.S., banks use many different protocols, so downloading to iBank depends on what choices are available to you from your financial institution.
The Direct Connect standard (OFX) is not often found at non-U.S. banks. More common would be a Excel- or Numbers-compatible format (CSV); transactions downloaded in this format can be imported to iBank. Other protocols to look for would include Quicken-compatible data formats (QIF or QFX).
