does it over heat? will it work for my 2010 macbook pro?

I went into the apple store one day and saw a cool case and asked a lady if she recommended it and she said no because it over heats. will the vents on the bottom of this completely fix that problem?

    I've had this case for over a year and i've never had any problems with overheating.
