Does it need wifi for the GPS to work

Do I have to be connected to wifi for the gps to track me. Or does it connect via sattelite

    GPS works via satellite - no WiFi required.

  • No it does not need WiFi to work. It does need to be connected to the Internet but the connection source to the Internet does not need to be WiFi
