does it charge the ipad 2 ?

    Yes it charges iPad 2 through the docking connector

  • From the manual: "[This product] will charge your ... iPad device whenever it is docked."

    Since this speaker also comes with an iPad 2 bracket, I would assume that the iPad 2 would also be charged. I don't think the iPad connector changed between the 1 and 2.
