iHome iHM79 Rechargeable Mini Speakers

Product No Longer Available

Do you always need to use batteries for this iHome and can't you just plug it in the outlet instead?

I'm asking this because I want to take this anywhere I go either work or travel but I think charging the batteries is a hassle and could take awhile to charge. I've been looking at this for months so I'm just a bit indecisive right now.

  • You can plug it in but power is provided by USB so you would need an AC/USB adapter. If you plug it into your computers USB port and speaker jack on the same computer, you will get an unpleasant loud hiss.

this unit doesn't use batteries, they are built in, but you can use this unit while plugged in to a USB 2.0 port and also when running on battery only.
