Do I need to also purchase AirPrint separately for wireless printer to print wirelessly with iPhone and iPad?

I am looking for a printer that can print wirelessly from my iPad, MacBook or iPhone. Are there printers that can do this automatically? Or do I have to buy a compatible printer AND an AirPrint. I'm hoping I don't have to buy two separate items and can just find a printer that is able to print wirelessly from iPad, etc. Thank you for any suggestions.

Nope. Most new all-in-one type printers are AP capable. There is no such thing as an "AirPrint" as in a box type deal. The printer you buy will say AirPrint capable, and then all you have to do is set it up on your home wifi
