Do all Macs have a Thunderbolt port? Is it the same as MiniDisplay?

I currently have the Macbook Pro Early 2011 Model. Can I use this with it and still have the high speed? Thanks

    It needs to specifically be a Thunderbolt port. MiniDisplay looks the same as thunderbolt in appearance but a MiniDisplay port will not accept a thunderbolt connection

  • Early 2011 Macbook Pros come with Thunderbolt - you can tell by the lightning logo next to the port.
