    Yes, this card will work in all Mac Pros. Unlike NVidia graphics cards that only ship with either a 32 or a 64 bit EFI ROM, ATi cards always come with both 32 and 64 bit EFIs, which allows them to be completely backwards compatible with all Mac Pros.

  • I can confirm that this works with my 3,1 2008 8 Core Mac Pro. I replaced my Standard ATI Radeon HD 2600 with this.

    However, I was hoping to run the HD 2600 along side this but doesn't seem to want to boot.
