You should be able to route the master audio through your "Built-in Audio" selection in the Sound Preference section under the OS X System Preferences menu. However, This may disable your Vestax Spin's headphone output.

  • Vestax Spin will play music through your airport speakers. While there is a direct hookup in the back of Vestax Spin to connect directly through speakers, if you connect the device to your mac through USB only, the output will be through through the speakers that are connected through airport. The only downfall to using airport speakers is the 2-3 second delay inherent in airport, which to someone who is barely an amateur, is distracting and difficult to manage.

  • Okay, there is ONE YES and ONE NO.

I too would like to use this product at home, and stream the output to my airport express wireless speakers. Is it YES, or is it NO?

  • No. The music is not played on the Mac, it comes out of the connectors on the back of the Spin DJ. There may be ways to feed the music coming from the mixer back into the Mac and then use various softwares (not included) to broadcast it to Airport Express.
