Can you use the LaCie 3TB d2 Quadra Hard Disk Drive with Time Machine. I'm using seagate and problems

    Works fine for me. However I prefer to use carbon copy cloner to run a weekly back up of my server drive on to the external. If thisgs really go wrong you can then set you system to boot off the external drive.
