Can you still scan when hubbing the Airport Extreme USB port with an external network hard drive and an Epson Artisan 700 ?

I want to use a multi function printer/scanner and an external hard drive via a USB hub connected to the Airport Extreme's USB port. Will the scanner still work through the hub?
