Can you monitor tracks already on Garage Band while recording? i.e. so you can play/sing in sync?

    Yes, you can. I just bought one today on an impulse buy and I think it works pretty well. Just have to turn on audio monitoring in GarageBand and tweak not just the gain on the iRig, but the input level on the iPad in GarageBand (same menu where you turn on audio monitoring) and you get a pretty decent sound!
