Can you install Mac OSX Version 10.5.8 on a laptop such as Compaq?

I have a Compaq with an intel CPU and really want to get a apple mac book for the snowleapord OS. Can you buy Snow Leapord and install it on a laptop?

    No, the Apple OS X software is licensed to run only on Apple hardware, and will not run on other manufacturer's hardware (and even if you managed to get it to run, you'd be violating the user license).
