Can this product work on itouch 1st generation?

I am haveing trouble useing voiceover on my ipod touch 1st generation, and the clicking buttons.

    No, the first gen iPod Touch does not support audio input.

  • I'm actually having similar problems. The earbuds work but my iPod touch won't respond to the buttons. I'm not sure why but I'm pretty disappointed.
