Can the lights be used outside?

I'm thinking of using theses outside and changing the colors for the different holidays.

    Instructions state Indoor use only. I've used outdoors, but temporary use only. They would have to be in a dry location and are not suitable for an enclosed ficture. Temperature operation range 0-35 degree Celsius, Relative humidity 5-95% non condensing.
