Can the iPhone be removed from the dock with one hand? No second hand necessary to help "unwedge" dock connector from inside iPhone?
With older iPod docks, the dock connector really gets firmly wedged up into the device. This requires a second hand to hold down the dock while pulling on the device to remove it. With the Blackberry dock I had the device just sort of sat on top and I could easily remove it with one hand. This is super nice when the dock/device sit on a nightstand and you want to be able to grab/remove it with one hand from bed.

No. It takes two hands to remove the 4s from the 4 dock.. My iphone 3gs and 3 doc did not have this problem.

Yes, the iPhone Dock has a rubber base which firmly grips the surface it's on - meaning, removing the iPhone from the dock is very easy to do with one hand.
