Can I use this adapter with my Macbook Pro to play my Xbox 360 on it?

I really want to play my Xbox 360 on my Macbook Pro 13" and I was wondering if it was as simple as connecting the Xbox via HDMI to this adapter, which plugs straight into my Macbook Pro.

    No.
    The mini display port on a Macbook Pro is for output only. So you could output from your Macbook Pro to a monitor or TV, but you can't use the mini display port to input data from another device (like an XBox).
