Can I use my Sprint USB Sierra Wireless device with an Airport to provide a wireless connection to all computers in my home?

I live in a rural area and no other hi-speed is available to me. I tried HughesNet, but it was no better than dial-up, so Sprint is the only way to connect to the internet for me.

    Indirectly, yes.

You would need to plug the Sierra device into your Mac and get it working there first (may be possible with Windows 7 but am unsure).

Then plug connect an Ethernet cable between the Mac's Ethernet port and and the WAN (or internet) port of the Airport Extreme.

Lastly you will need to open System Settings and under the sharing option you would share the internet connection from your Sierra USB modem to your Ethernet port.

Then set up the router as normal.
