can i use a vodem stick and create a wireless network? or do i have to have an ethernet connection?

I have a Vodafone vodem stick as my internet source. It plugs in via a usb connection. Can i Somehow use this with a Airport base station to allow me to have a wireless connection for my other apple computer - being my work laptop?

No. I would assume that the Vodem requires software and the Airport will not allow that software to be installed therefore it will not work. There is also the complication of the AirPort looking to the WAN (Internet) port for its internet access. This also means it will not work.

    Hope this helps,
