Can I use a TC inplace of the Airport?

I"m new to Apple and just bought a Mac Mini for home. I have an iphone and will be purchasing an ipad in the next few weeks. Do I need an airport as well as a tc for wifi or will i have wifi capabilities with the tc?

  • Yes you can! The Time Capsule is effectively Air Port with a back up hard drive. Mine has saved me a couple of times.

  • The time capsule is essentially the airport extreme with hard drive capabilities so yes you can use this in place of the airport
