Can I turn off 802.11n and just use 802.11g on Airport Extreme?

My wireless ISP uses unlicensed 5GHz radios to distribute internet connectivity throughout our neighborhood. They say 802.11n routers using 5GHz frequencies interfere with their unlicensed radios and do not want them used. Can I turn off the 802.11n radio in Airport Extreme and just use the 802.11g radio as to not introduce interference?

Yes, when setting the radio mode selector in "AirPort Utility" - if the "a only," "b only," "g only," or "n only 2.4 GHz" setting references are not visible to you, hold down the "option" key (alt key) and all the other options will become visible.

The radio mode selector gives you the opportunity to choose the radio mode for both networks.
