Can i mirror two computers via a time capsule?
I have a 27" iMac and a 13" Macbook Pro and i want to have both computers to be clones of each other. I want everything that is on my iMac to be on my Macbook and vise vera. Can this be done?
I spoke with one of the guys at the mac store and got a "deer in the headlights" look. I can't believe i am the only one out here that would want this function. I just want all my data to be with me at all times. If i leave town for a day or two i still need to work so i still need my data on my macbook and when i get back to the office i need everything i worked on to show up on my iMac.

If you find a way for Time Capsule to do this, it will be way too slow to satisfy you. Time Capsule was not designed for this purpose, and neither was Time Machine. You are really not asking for passive solutions, but active solutions.
MobileMe/iDisk/Back to My Mac are more likely to provide the active solutions you are seeking.

If I understand you correctly, You want to make your computers sharing the same data. Here is the solution. first, buying a Time capsule and then, backup all your data in the Timecapsule. Next, format both of your computers.
When you rebuild Mac os X using CD, the Os will ask you to use the backup data in the time capsule or not. This is the first step.
In order to maintain your computers sharing same data, you should backup your work data in the timecapsule and when you are out, you can connect its data in the timecapsule via Mobile Me.
