    Yes; Lion will run on all 64-bit intel chip macs. This includes all Mac Pro models and all Core 2 Duo and above machines. This information is listed on the 'tech specs' tab for Mac OS X.

  • Yes, just check your graphics card is also compatible before upgrading. I had to replace my Radeon x1900 with a 5770 for compatibility with Lion.
