can i connect my ps3 to this so it can work on my imac 27"

    Yes I tried it, for me there wasn't any sound though. The iMac 27 inch supports input and output . Apple said in the specs "27-inch models also support input from external DisplayPort sources (adapters sold separately)".

  • The Mini Display Port is output-only so no, you cannot plug your PS3 into your iMac using this adapter. You would need some sort of TV-Input device.
