Can AirPort Extreme extend a wireless signal from an AT&T Uverse wireless router?
I have the AT&T wireless router but have a weak signal and very slow transmission speeds at one end of the house. Can I use an AirPort Extreme connected by Ethernet to the AT&T router to strengthen the wireless signal in that end of the house? If so, how do I set it up properly? The intent would be to be able to use my wireless devices (iPhones, iPads, MacBookPro's, TiVo's, in all parts of the house.

In my case I have the Airport Extreme close to the AT&T router upstairs and have an Airport Express downstairs to extend the signal. You'll have to go into Utilities in Applications, then Airport Utility. There you'll set up your Airport Express as an Extender. It will handle all your devices like you ask.

Place the AES in the middle of the house or at a location that would allow you to run a long cat 5 cable to it, Perhaps at the opposite side of the house or floor above, then set it up to extend the existing wireless network via the network cable connection this is the same for the airport express as well you should see improve coverage and speed with this setup
