bought this kit with an ipod nano 3rd gen 2 yrs ago, just got ipod touch and shoe sensor won't connect. Do i still need plug in sensor or a new kit?

Ok. First of all, how did you go about trying to link it? Did you go through settings, or the Nike+ app itself? The proper way to do it is: Settings - Nike+iPod, make sure the slider at the top reads "on", scroll down and select "Sensor". If the sensor is in your shoes, walk around in them for a few seconds until the iPod says it is linked. If the sensor is outside of your shoes, shake it for a few seconds until the iPod says it is linked. And that is how you link your sensor. Good luck!
