Are they water resistant? I mean if you are caught in the rain are they ruined?

I like to wear ear buds while riding and running. From time to time I get caught in a light rain or drizzle. How water resistant are your "Apple Earphones" ear buds

    I wear mine backpacking and in South America in the cloudforest. It doesn't get much more humid than in the cloudforest or jungle. I have even immersed the earbud in water by accident. I didn't try to use it until I dried it out for a few hours and it worked fine.
