  • Yes, I have one. I have a CF adapter so it will bit in my SLR. when you set the eye-fi up on your desktop, you tell it the said and wep passwords. then when you have it in your camera, take a picture, it automatically logs into your wifi network and uploads the picture to where you configured it to go. I.E. Facbook Flikr or your iPhoto library. The Eye-Fi's updated firmware still has MobileMe but it won't let you configure because the MobileMe servers went down last June or something. and iPhoto will automaticaly push new pictures added to its library to the cloud so they probably didn't fell it urgent to update the firmware. if you have an i device there are apps that let you use them to capture the picture directly. if you were a photographer in a photo shoot and wanted to show the pictures to the models or family of the baby you are taking pictures of. for an small extra fee you can also have the pictures geo tagged. for an additional monthly fee you can have it able tp upload your pictures from any (most) public wifi hotspots. thats how you hear about people finding their stolen phones because the robber goes near a hotspot and the geo tagged pictures automatically upload and tell on the criminal
