I just bought an iPhone 4 and tried out these earphones with it. It will pause, change volume, and it works with voice control. Just press the center button once to pause, again to play, and hold to activate voice control. You will hear a beep, and then you say the commands you wish. Enjoy!

  • Hi there, wich model of earphones are you talking about?
I have lost my earphones that came with the iPhone 4 and I want to buy the original, but I have a doubt about this two models:
    MB770G/B and MA814LL/A
Wich is the original? Does any of these works better than the other one?

  • "The remote and mic are supported only by iPod nano (4th and 5th generation), iPod classic (120GB/160GB), iPod touch (2nd generation), iPhone 3GS and iPad. The remote is supported by iPod shuffle (3rd generation). Audio is supported by all iPod models."

This appears that it is not compatible with iPhone 4.

  • I have these earphones and an iPhone 4. The output audio works but no VC, no pause, and no mic. Of course this is contrary to the compatibility information on the store page.

This is also the second pair I have had. Some problems with these. One side eventually goes bad. Sounds like a cracked speaker that rattles.
