Does this work for high-frequency vocals in a voice teaching studio?

I teach classical/operatic voices and need to be able to easily record lessons for students. The Blue Snowball was highly recommended, but it was awful, way too much distortion, especially for soprano voices. Wondering if this is a significant improvement or just another "sing with your guitar" kind of mic. Thanks.

    I use mine for voice work. It records all depths and highs very very well, in my opinion. I found the snowball distorted as well. Are you using garage band? If so, you can lower the sensitivity on the mic and on the software as well. My suggestion is try it and take it back if it doesn't work well. Even snowball had some adjustables, but I find this one captures a lot more sound that you are looking for and a lot less of what you don't want (providing you are using settings correctly)
