Which airlines are compatible with the Griffin eXport In-Flight Video Cable.

    I have a non-griffin model, but it's the same connector. The upgraded United Business class 747 entertainment systems take it. I purchased mine on the United flight.

  • I flew yesterday on a United Airlines 767-300 equipped with the new seats in First- and Business classes. Both have the new "eXport" connectors for the iPod, which allow you to watch movies/videos on your seat monitor from your iPod. The seats also have 110 VAC and USB charging ports. Really nice!

  • Continental Airlines is installing iPod / iPhone support via eXport during the installation of a new Flat Bed seating product in BusinessFirst. This capability will be offered fleetwide in BusinessFirst and is already flying on a few Continental 777 and 757-200 aircraft.

  • ANA where they have on demand IFE (AVOD) uses the same cable in First, Business and even in Economy.

  • Sinapore Airlines also uses the connector. It is important to note that this is only useful in business/first class seats.

  • All Virgin companies, such as Virgin Atlantic, should be compatible, though i am not currently traveling to test.

    Other cutting edge companies are Austrian Air, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific, and Malay, from my 10 yrs experience as a traveling biz consultant.. But again, please check
