How well does this work with bass guitar? I want to use this live with drum loops in Mainstage.

Everything I can find about the GIO talks about using it with guitar or to control Mainstage with a MIDI keyboard. I want to use this with a bass guitar.

    Works great with Bass, and GiO is a great tool for triggering loops and midi commands on Mainstage.
