Does this iCable cord fit in the iPhone 5 that has an Otter Box on it?

I have another auxiliary cord in my current car and it doesn't fit all the way in the phone because of the case. It makes a loud popping sound or it will play for a few seconds and then stop playing because the cord is no longer attached. I don't want to have to take off the case every time I want to listen to music in my car. Can anyone help me out that has the new iPhone? Does anyone know if this cord fits in with the new phone and cases?
