Can we put in 2 EVGA GeForce GTX 285 into our MacPro tower or if possible even up to 4 of them in the tower?

There isn't physical room for four 285s. Two would fit, but you'd have to take power from the optical bays to power the second one.

No you can not. There are only two 6-Pin PCIe power plugs. However there are sites out there that can help you rewire to get two more 6-Pin PCIe to power the 2nd GTX 295.
There are only 4 slots. 3 single and 1 double wide. That will allow only two GTX 285 and one GT 120 to be installed.
Also there is no SLI on Mac OS X. So getting two GTX 285 and SLI will not work nor give you extra performance.- Answered by NZ from Davis

My first question why do you need two or more 285 GTX? you can't run SLi if that's what your thinking, One should be enough but if you want to run multiple displays like two 30 inch cinema displays hd just one 285 GTX will handle that task just fine
