is it a suitable device for a trainer to use for groups of 15 or 20 adult learners and can the ipod run powerpoint

  • You can't do powerpoint even with the iPod touch or iPhone. You can only view pictures and videos if you are using it with your iPod touch or iPhone. However, I think if you can find a VGA to A/V cable, you might be able to connect your laptop to the projector.

  • I have not used this device myself yet, but I am thinking of buying it if go on holidays and want to watch a movie on my ipod in a larger format.
    I can though tell you from experience that for a group of 15-20 adults it should be the right size. also you cannot run powerpoint on an ipod, unless you have an Ipod touch, in which case you might be able to view a powerpoint presentation if you sent it to your self as an attachment via e-mail

  • While you cant run powerpoint on an ipod,you can view powerpoint presentations by first saving them either as a series of images - jpgs (easiest for control over timing) or as a movie (best if the powerpoint relies on effects or sound).

    Both microsoft and keynote have options for these exports.
