Will "aux in" work with my macbook? Has anyone tried this?

I've tried another speaker dock (Phillips) and it wouldn't work with laptops, just other mp3 players. Also tried JBL Onstage IIIp (two of them) and they wouldn't work with my iphone.

    Yes! It works great. Just make sure you have a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable so that you can connect them together.
    Source: Personal experience, I use it all the time to watch movies with my MacBook Pro.
